I'm Celia, the person behind The Utility Advisor, and I've been working in the utility industry for over seven years, supporting both households and businesses. I genuinely enjoy helping people make sense of something that often feels confusing.
When I'm not working, life is busy and full! I live with my husband, our twins, and our dog, and I understand first-hand how valuable it is to keep things simple, organised and easy to manage.
Before working in utilities, I enjoyed a variety of roles, including 18 years working as an NHS physiotherapist, running my own sewing business, and supporting clients with social media and website management. Those experiences have all shaped the way I work today; practical, organised, and focused on finding solutions that genuinely make life easier.
Like most people, I don’t want to spend hours trying to understand tariffs or chasing different providers and I know my customers don’t either. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping people simplify their utilities and feel more in control of them.
